Your tasks

Methodology and standards

  • Developing, documenting and maintaining internal BIM guidelines, standards and workflows.
  • Definition and control of data structures, modelling guidelines and exchange formats (IFC, BCF).
  • Mapping of data between tools and CDE
  • Synchronization of data and data status according to BIM guidelines
  • Compliance with and implementation of BIM standard (ISO 19650)
  • Support in the introduction of new methods and tools in the company.

Project support

  • Implementation of naming concept according to EIR
  • Preparation of BIM Execution plan according to EIR
  • Data Preparation for Data Drop Process
  • Implementation and synchronization of role concept between CDE and specific tools
  • Advising and supporting project teams in the use of BIM methods.
  • Creation of templates, libraries and standardized content for projects.

Training and coordination

  • Training of employees in BIM software and methodology.
  • Contact person for specialist departments in all questions about BIM.
  • Exchange and coordination with external partners (planners, suppliers, customers) regarding BIM requirements.

BIM Coordinator

  • Performing data dropping
  • Performing model checks (consistency, completeness, collision checking).

Your profile

  • Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering or comparable qualifications.
  • Experience in the implementation and application of BIM standards and processes.
  • Qualified as BIM coordinator (BuildingSMART certification practitioner)
  • In-depth knowledge of common BIM software tools 
    • incl. Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autocad, Inventor
    • incl. Autodesk ACC
    • incl. Comos iDB
    • incl. DMS like PROFILE
  • Sound knowledge of data management and interfaces (IFC, BCF, CDE)
  • Programming skills required
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, communication and training skills.
